Car Batteries

The purpose of the car battery is to start the engine, and power some car accessories when the engine is not running.

Symptoms of a battery going bad is slow cranking of an engine when starting. If the engine does not turn over as fast as it used to. Age is another factor.

When replacing a car battery, with todays cars, a special tool is required to keep the car computer memory from being erased. Some vehicles when the memory gets erased, the computer has to relearn how to control the vehicles engine, and the vehicle may not run correctly and stall for around 15 minutes before the computer re-learns.
